This poem was written by April Shrum to her beloved boy Etch.

My sweet sweet lovebug, you are missed more then words can say! I have so many memoires that I want to share but for right now those are mine & I hold them close to my heart!! I look forward to the day I no loner cry myself to sleep, I wonder if I’ll ever stop counting?

25 days-18 hours-45 mins since you left us! 

I have these words for you my sweet boy! I hold these words close to my heart, for I truly believe, “You become what you believe”

I believe that imagination is stronger then knowledge,

That myth is more potent than history.

That dreams are more powerful than facts,

That hope always triumphs over experience,

That laughter is the only cure for grief,

And I truly truly believe that love his stronger than death.

Etch went quietly to the rainbow bridge.  He had chewed a carpet remnant at a boarding facility.   The strands of carpet backing tangled his intestines.  He will be forever missed.

Etch is Blackjack’s first Canadian Champion.  Etch finished his Canadian Championship completely owner handled!  He won a 5 pt. major under judge Patricia Hastings at Canada’s largest outdoor show.

His expression shows the regal look a Boxer should have.  He has substance and elegance.  His doppler was normal. A holter test will be done early in 2007.
